Dr. Stephanie Calce is awarded an Insight Development Grant!

Congratulations to PhASE's Stephanie Calce and collaborator, Darlene Weston for their project titled, "Bone-formers and bone-losers: Factors in assessing age-at-death in skeletal remains" which was awarded an Insight Development Grant from SSHRC.

Partnered with the Musculoskeletal Research Group at UBC Radiology, Steph and Darlene will investigate the rate of bone remodeling in adults from CT scans of the pelvis and thorax and paired with bone density measurements.
