CSI Victoria

32 local Victoria high school students descended on the UVic campus to search for evidence and process a crime scene. Suited up in their protective gear, students were challenged by both faunal and ballistic experts, as well as Saanich police who participated in the mock-forensic case of a missing girl. Shout outs to Oak Bay police as well for a fantastic guest lecture on mass grave identification overseas. Special and sincere THANKS to all of our volunteers who continue to make this event a success every year. Finally, I must thank the Department of Anthropology for unwavering support, your generosity and commitment to hands-on learning is appreciated by all of us.
