For the last 5 years I have been volunteering as a program coordinator with Let's Talk Science, a national science outreach organization that empowers children and youth from local communities to become life long learners of science. LTS promotes the development and execution of hands-on/minds-on activities that improve understanding of the physical and life sciences, mathematics and technology. You can become a volunteer too!
Look for notice of our next event, Forensic Anthropology Day, which runs annually on the first Saturday in June where local Victoria high-school students have the opportunity to take part in a mock-forensic case on the UVic campus.
